You may be looking at your life right now and regretting almost every decision you have made that led you to where you are. If you are doing exactly that, then you are questioning your entirety as well. You may be losing interest in your job or finding nothing exciting about life in general anymore. So what do you resort to? Self-pity.
Fortunately, this is one of the many problems that meditation can fix. This technique lifts you up from your own pile of self-doubt and brings you up to be stronger and more resilient in times of problems. This type of existential crisis is exactly the push you need to detach yourself from all earthly attachments and simply let your soul venture out into space.
One of the wonders this type of meditation brings is it sets you up to be limitless. When you are imagining yourself floating in the vast galaxy you will feel that no borders can ever hold you back. By doing this, you let your mind wander into places you never thought you could go to. Explore the channels of your own thoughts and let it direct you towards what will give meaning and color back in your life.
However, this doesn’t just happen as easily as all other meditation techniques. This takes intense focus and time to fully master. Here are 3 steps to help you in this process.
1. Believe in what you dream of.
This is probably something you’ve heard a million times before. Before you make false claims, try this out during meditation; it makes all the difference. Learning to believe in what your mind thinks is too far off to achieve is the first step to getting there. Find what you love and know in yourself that it is the right path to take.
2. Let pain and failure be the driving force to push you towards happiness.
One cannot attain pure happiness without dealing with a few bumps on the road. Own that you are an imperfect human being. There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing that you have been molded by all the hardships life has thrown at you. Let these be the external force that will make you want to achieve happiness even more!
3. Act upon it and manifest to the world your new you!
Of course there is more to this technique than simply meditating religiously. You have to act out whatever you have felt in those few minutes alone in your mind and space. Keep your life in a cycle of positivity and don’t let whatever has bothered you before rattle you again. Manifest your new found happiness; manifest your new self.
