Have a hard time quieting your mind to meditate? You are not alone. Even people who meditate all the time often have issues getting into that quiet ‘place’ in their minds.
Think about stretching or doing some kind of slow exercise before trying to meditate…or perhaps a bath or mellow music. Ease into your meditation, especially if you have been feeling anxious.
But more than anything else, be patient and compassionate with yourself. It is okay if you have difficulty getting your mind quiet. Just try again later!
