Spirit Guide Meditation Instructions: Step By Step

Step 1: Get Comfortable

Sit in a comfortable position, either on a chair or on the floor. Ensure your back is straight but not rigid. Close your eyes gently. Bring your awareness to your heart, located in the middle of your chest, a couple of inches inward. Feel your heart center as you settle into this space.

Step 2: Breathe Deeply

Allow your belly to be soft and loose. Take a deep breath, letting your stomach and rib cage fully expand. Hold your breath at the top for a moment. Exhale with a sigh, releasing any tension. Return to a natural breathing pattern that feels good to you, maintaining your focus on your heart.

Step 3: Visualize Light

Imagine a ring of white light encircling you. See this light flowing towards you and into your heart. Feel the divine love this light brings, enveloping and filling you with a sense of peace and warmth.

Step 4: Set Your Intention

Keep your focus on your heart. Silently affirm: “I now welcome in my highest, most loving spirit guide for this moment.” Feel your heart opening up and inviting this guide’s presence. Notice any sensations of warmth, lightness, or expansion in your heart center.

Step 5: Meet Your Guide

Visualize a sphere of light in front of you. See this sphere parting to create an opening. Your highest, most loving spirit guide steps through this opening. Trust that you are safe and protected. Only love may enter, and only love may exit. Observe any details about your spirit guide’s appearance and the energy they bring.

Step 6: Connect with Your Guide

Feel a deep connection between your heart and your guide’s heart. Visualize a rainbow light flowing from your heart to theirs and from their heart to yours with every inhale and exhale. With each breath, feel the loving energy growing stronger and more vibrant.
