on the floor or a chair, with your back straight but

Bend your elbows and bring your arms to your chest.

Each thumb and index finger should form a circle.

The index finger is curled far into the beginning of your
thumb.

The other fingers are stretched up.

Connect your hands and outstretched fingers back to back.

Be as still as possible.

Breathe long, deep, and slow.

Pay attention to your breathing.

You’re likely to have many thoughts and distractions.

Don’t judge yourself for them. Instead, observe them
and set them aside.

Begin by holding this symbol for two minutes, and work
your way slowly up to 5 minutes at a time.

With practice, you’ll be able to sit longer and longer.

focused, and able to concentrate on the task at hand.
