You can drown yourself in all the books and online tutorials you want, yet it doesn’t guarantee that you will be able to make meditation your new habit.

Meditation has been acclaimed for having helped a lot of people throughout this practice. Not only does it improve physical and emotional health, but mental as well. For you to be able to get these benefits you must learn ways to make meditation a part of your daily routine. One of the ways you can do so is by using The Release Meditation technique.

This method doesn’t differ much from all others you’ve heard. The difference is that this provides easier step-by-step. Here’s a guide to get you started:

·         Find your own mantra.

This is the first and easiest step you will have to do. Adopt a word or a phrase along with a tune that you can easily repeat in your mind over and over again. You may think that this is unnecessary, but this is one of the most useful tools you will have in meditation. This is what will bring you back to focus whenever you feel your thoughts wandering about.

·         No more excuses.

One of the most used reasons for people who don’t or can’t meditate is that they can’t focus long and hard enough. Though it is true that this is a hindrance in achieving full meditation, it should not stop you from doing so. Whenever you find yourself faced with this challenge just remember to breathe in and hum your mantra. That should get you back on track.

·         It doesn’t always lead to refreshment.

If you ever finish a 20 minute session of meditation and find that nothing has changed (you’re still stressed or phased out), and think to yourself that maybe this technique isn’t for you, don’t give up just yet. Let me tell you now that it won’t always work like a charm. Some days you feel your best after, some days you’ll just feel the same. It’s alright to feel this way since you are just a beginner.

·         Practice regularly.

As said before, try doing this for 20 minutes every day. Follow through and keep pursuing this until it eventually becomes a part of your system wherein you would do it without hesitation at all. Notice the good it will do to your body and your lifestyle as well!
